Welcome to Oslo Caledonian Pipe Band

Oslo Caledonian Pipe Band, the OCPB, was established in 1997 and is one of three bagpipe bands in Norway. We play Scottish and Irish bagpipe music, with and without drums, for every occasion.

The band consists of bagpipers and drummers, where the pipers play melodies and themes and the drummers fill the sound picture with their rhythms from three types of drums; snares, bass and tenors.
Vi spiller gjerne ved de fleste anledninger, og har en rekke forskjellig type skotsk og irsk musikk på lager.

We would love to play at most occasions and have a range of different Scottish and Irish music to choose from. Examples of jobs we have had is among several: market days, entertainment at shopping centres, weddings, funerals, birthdays, folk music festivals and kick-offs. We would be happy to talk to you if you want to hire us for similar jobs. You can hire the whole band, parts of it or just a solo piper.

The band has approximately 14 members playing bagpipes and drums, and we also have several students.

The fee will be stipulated depending on arrangement, geographical place and    time spent. We can also participate at weekend arrangements if needed.
